Everything you need to know about your ride-on toys & electric vehicles

Power
Q
My car/quad/bike is not turning on — the display shows nothing

Please ensure the battery is securely connected to the vehicle. For quads and bikes, also check that a fuse is properly in place. A missing or blown fuse is the most common reason for no power at startup.

Speed
Q: My car is not going very fast — is something wrong?

Speed depends on your vehicle's voltage. 12V cars typically reach 7–8 km/hr, 24V models range from 10–20 km/hr depending on wattage, and most of our 48V quads and dirt bikes reach 35–45 km/hr. These are normal ranges — not faults!

Tyres
Q
Air keeps leaking out of my new quad or dirt bike tyres

Check that the air valve pin is properly tightened into the valve. On most of our products, you can use the back of the valve cap to push and screw the pin in firmly. This is a quick fix that solves most air-leak issues on new vehicles.

Battery
Q
My car or quad from a few years ago has stopped working

First, check whether the battery is charging — the charger light should show red while charging and turn green when full. Battery life is generally 2–3 years depending on usage. If your battery is beyond that, it likely needs replacing. Order a replacement via our Spare Parts section on the portal.

Charging
Q
How long should I charge the battery, and can I overcharge it?

Most ride-on vehicles take 8–12 hours for a full charge. We recommend charging overnight before first use. Modern chargers are designed to stop automatically once full, but it's best not to leave vehicles plugged in for more than 24 hours to prolong battery life.

Remote Control
Q
The parental remote control isn't responding to my car

Ensure the remote has fresh batteries (usually 2× AA). Check the remote is paired to the vehicle — some models require holding the power button on both the car and remote simultaneously to sync. Also make sure you're within 10–15 metres without obstructions. If issues persist, check the antenna wire under the car body.

Safety
Q
What age and weight limits apply to your ride-on vehicles?

Our 12V cars are generally suited for children aged 2–6 (up to approx. 30 kg). 24V models suit ages 4–8 (up to 50 kg). Our 48V quads and dirt bikes are designed for older kids and teens (up to 80–100 kg). Always check the specific product listing for individual weight limits.

Spare Parts
Q
