Q?

What are some of the technical issues that might arise when riding this electric car?

A.

The car doesn’t move with the desired speed.
The battery is not connected to the car properly. Make sure to follow the instructions and recharge the battery for 18-24hr. In cases of flat battery, always make sure the battery is fully charged for 18-24 hours. If not working, the battery needs to be replaced as the half-life of batteries are limited; 2-3 years depending on how they have been used.
Also, some wall outlets are controlled by switches and it is always necessary to check the battery is warm while recharging.
Note: Make sure, the battery has been charged at least once a month even if it has not been used to increase battery half-life. Also, some batteries make sound when fully charged. This is normal and doesn’t need any attention.
Sometimes, the accelerator switch doesn’t function properly leading to speed limitation, in this case the switch needs to be replaced.

What if one wheel spins faster than usual?
In this case, the running speed is not adjusted to the surface for example wet surfaces, the wheels move fast. Hence, surface adjustment is required.

What is the cause of loud sounds when the car is moving?
This issue is mainly due to damage to the gear box and requires replacement.

Why sometimes the ride on car is overloaded and what are the symptoms?
Any condition that exerts too much load on motor as being overloaded with weight, steeping slopes, rocky or thick grass surfaces will lead to overheating of the car and activation of thermal sensor which leads the car to stop and restart itself after few minutes.

Q?

What is the average speed of ride on car?

A.

Depending on the power of the battery, the speed varies.
6-volt battery car has a speed of 3 KM/H and the speed of 12-volt is about 5 KM/H.

Q?

Do I have to do much assembly?

A.

Each product needs some assembly based on the model. However clear instructions in the manual facilitates the whole process. By following the instructions in the manual adding the roll bars, wheels, steering wheel, seat, axles and/or mirrors is not a hard task any longer.

Q?

How long should I leave the battery on charge?

A.

Depending on the power of battery the timing of charge is 8-10hr. Leaving the battery longer that this time under charge will damage the electrodes in the battery resulting in the decrease of its half-life. Note that, even if you don’t use the battery, make sure it is charged at least once a month. Also, it is normal that some batteries make some sounds when fully charges. This is normal and doesn’t require any action.

Q?

Is there any surface limitation for electric ride on car?

A.

It depends on the battery power. For example, 12 Volt ride on cars can move on various surfaces including tarmac, grass, gravel and 6 Volt ride on cars are suitable for the harder surfaces as tarmac.

Q?

Why my car doesn’t look exactly as displayed in your website?

A.

Depending on the quality of your system as resolution, the colours may vary. Also, sometimes manufacturers make minimal changes as stickers and lightings each time. However, in Artintoys we try our best to provide our customers with the items as close as possible with what is shown in the pictures.

Q?

Why my car has minor indentations on the body?

A.

All these cars are made of plastic and during the manufacturing process, plastic is melted, bent and moulded to give the car the proper shape, that may result in minor marks which don’t affect the quality of the item.

Q?
